After living a city life for many years, back in 2004 me and my boyfriend moved out of Central London, we were renting a house with a beautiful garden in North London, away from pollution and noise. I really didn’t think i would enjoy enjoy living far from the busy streets of London, shops, restaurants, people… During summer months we used to eat in the garden all the time. This was the time when i started shopping for organic produce, fruits, vegetables and meat. The whole “green” experience ( i never had a garden before) brought me closer to the nature and i wanted to grow my own herbs and vegetables. Growing my own little green goodies made me more aware of what organic really means and how much it is important what you feed your body with. I really didn’t have any experience in growing vegetables but it was fun and i totally enjoyed every minute of it.

The very first vegetables in my garden: spinach, tomatoes and carrots. Carrots were tiny, i planted them too close to each other and they didn’t have space to grow, well  i didn’t have a clue what i was doing lol! Spinach and tomatoes turned out great for the first time!
