Moiduls Rawalpindi Indian restaurant located in Twickenham, West London. The restaurant serves Indian and Bangladeshi food. When it comes to take-away i prefer restaurant ones, yes it is more expensive but in most cases you get restaurant quality food.
Starters: Dall Pakora with coriander & chilli dip – spicy lentil chunks, i totally enjoyed this, not usually on Indian take-away menu
Aloo Bora – spicy potato and onion balls in breadcrumbs, great substitute for samosa, very tasty
Officer chop bahar – chargrilled lamb chops, meat extremely tasty and tender, chops slightly on a small side but i guess ok for a starter
Denaaz Puree chicken – violently hot and spicy! Chicken perfectly cooked. In my opinion too many chili seeds in the sauce but my partner loved it! Naan bread very soft and fresh, easy to tear into pieces.
Lamb madras and Aloo chana masala – I had lamb madras, it was the best i ever had in the past 5 years or so. Lamb was falling apart, really well cooked, slightly spicy but still full of flavours! Less meat than the chicken but still good size portion. Lots of sauce so i regret i didn’t order rice with it. Aloo chana masala was delicious, very similar to Bombay potatoes.
They also delivered condiments free of charge. We got raitha, mango sauce and tamarind sauce, all delish!
