Classy and elegant, excellent place for dining before performance. Visited in Nov 2011, we booked tickets to see The Cure at beautiful and historic Royal Albert Hall. There are several places to wine and dine inside the RAH, decided to try Coda restaurant, their menu looked interesting.
At the arrival we were greeted straight away and could choose a table. The restaurant was almost empty, we arrived about 2 hours before the concert. During the evening the restaurant got only half full. I guess it gets really busy if there is opera, ballet or classical music showing. I doubt the Cure fans are interested in fine dining …
Tables not big enough so if you order side dish with your main it gets cluttered.
We started with a bottle of champagne and foie gras as a starter. Lovely presentation and delicious. Foie gras very creamy. For our mains we chose panfried salmon on a bed of beans and greens and roasted beef with creamy mash and greens. We also ordered a plate of spinach as a side dish.
Excellent service and good quality food.
