Court Restaurant at The British Museum on Urbanspoon

Lovely restaurant situated inside of the British Museum.
We visited Moctezuma exhibition and the restaurant had a special exhibition menu on offer, a Mexican inspired 3-course menu. We booked this dinner together with the exhibition ticket for £38 per person excluding drinks. It was a great way to finish our evening.
Their cocktails were little bit disappointing, we had traditional margherita £8, not really well presented as they use coarse salt for the glass rim decoration and apart from looking messy it was unpleasant to drink. We also had Aztec Dream cocktail, made with kahlua, amaretto, creme cacao and coke, but all i could taste was coke, also disappointing.
The food however was really good. Meat was fresh and well cooked.
The service was little bit on a down side, we had to wait for their attention.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, there was a soft music in the background, but wish the restaurant was full as i prefer buzzy restaurant.
I will definately visit again as i would like to try their A la carte menu.
