Pulcinella on Urbanspoon

Ended up at this place a few months ago.  I can say this is the best pizza in London. Before i discovered this place my favorite was Pizza Express, i could eat their La Raine day and night!  But i have to say Pulcinella pizza was simply the real thing as i remember it from my childhood. Lovely thin , slightly crispy but not burnt or dry base with generous amount of yummy cheese and delicious ham. Ham was still moist after baking, which was a big plus, other places always burn it or the ham comes out so dry and chewy. Pizzas are huge, as they should be!

I also tried tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and tiramisu for dessert. Tomato salad nothing special, just one blob of cheese and sliced tomato. Tiramisu was fantastic, very creamy and soaked with good stuff!

The place is very tiny so would not recommend for large parties of over 4. Not sure about booking, i guess they get busy in the evenings considering the location, i visited twice so far but  it was after 11pm, the place was half empty. Staff is mediocre, the same what you would expect in an ordinary pub. Apart from pizzas on the menu, the restaurant also offers antipasti, insalate, pasta, risotto, fish…
